As veterans of the Chicago Climate Exchange, we saw first hand the process of taking a set of innovative commodities to market. We developed expertise in developing new contracts, helping non-traders understand the benefits of markets, and integrating with financial, regulatory and banking institutions. We brought that experience to the Exchangery, where we offer a packaged exchange solution.

Exchangery was selected in to the 2011 class of Excelerate, a Chicago based startup incubator. We received seed capital along with 3 months of mentoring, learning sessions, presentations from industry luminaries and investor introductions.

Chris Duesing - Cofounder / CEO
Chris Duesing has over 10 years of experience in software and technical services with a specialization in high throughput, distributed applications in the financial and retail industries. Most recently as the Director of Application Development for the Chicago Climate Exchange, Chris has spent the last 6 years focusing on entrepreneurship and developing new businesses. Chris is active in the Chicago tech community where he is an organizer of the Chicago Erlang Users group and as a mentor for ScaleWell.
Kellee James - Cofounder / Business Development
Kellee James was appointed by President Obama as a 2010 White House Fellow. Prior to her work as a Fellow, Kellee spent 5 years as an economist at the Chicago Climate Exchange. In 2009, she was named by Crain’s Chicago Business Magazine as a '40 Under 40' rising leader. Previously, Kellee worked with commodity banks in Latin America on risk management and income diversification strategies. Kellee received her MBA and MA in International Development from American University in Washington, D.C., and completed a BA in Spanish from the University of Kentucky.
